Lots of us enjoy a good wander around an antiques centre or vintage emporium, and it seems like we’re not alone!  Those Crazy Cats enjoy it too, especially when they can lounge on furniture, investigate open drawers, creep inside suitcases and generally check everything out.  This wonderfully detailed scene is filled with vintage objects large and small, all of which are just waiting to be rediscovered and enjoyed. This puzzle is No 8 in Linda Jane Smith's Crazy Cats Vintage range. High quality 1000 piece cardboard jigsaw puzzle. The finished puzzle measures 70 x 50cm when complete. A note about this image from Birmingham-based artist Linda Jane Smith - Hunting for 'old stuff' is like treasure hunting for me! I love peeling paint, and old leather suitcases covered in travel labels. They've 'had a life'. Car boot sales, Antique shops, and Jumble sales are the places to go; worn fabric is so beautiful. Bundles of sepia photographs from an attic, or an enamel sign for 'Bird's Custard'! I like to capture the look of age in an object when I paint; after all, a spot of rust never hurt anyone!
